It's Finally Here

Sure, it's 32 degrees here in Philly and most schools in the area are opening late today because of the slop falling out of the sky, but it's finally spring. Yes, the most glorious words in the English language are being uttered today - pitchers and catchers report to spring training.

But it's not just pitchers and catchers who have arrived in Clearwater, Fla. Lots of regulars are already in camp, including Rhys Hoskins, Odubel Hererra, and brand-catcher JT Realmuto.

But the talk of spring training is going to be about who isn't in Clearwater–or anywhere else for that matter. We're still waiting to hear where Bryce Harper and Manny Machado will sign. It's been an exhausting off-season waiting for these two to make up their minds. At this point, I'm getting used to the idea that neither will be a Phillie.

But enough of the negadelphianism. Spring is here and baseball is back. And there was much rejoicing.
